Saatbettkombinationen Carina sind für die Vorbereitung des Bodens zur Aussaat oder zum Anpflanzen während einer Fahrt bestimmt. Die Aggregate können beim Zerkrümeln von Schollen, bei Vernichtung von verkrusteten Böden und Unkraut, sowie beim Mischen von Mineraldüngern mit dem Boden eingesetzt werden. Der Einsatz von angebauten Werkzeugen reduziert die Anzahl von Fahrten, was einen negativen Einfluss auf die krümelige Struktur des Bodens beschränkt und des Weiteren erheblich die Kosten des Ackerbaus und der Zubereitung des Ackers verringert.
Eine Saatbettkombination ist eine Verbindung von zwei Saatbettwerkzeugen – einem Grubber und einer hinteren 1- oder 2-reihigen Krümlerwalze. Zähne des Grubbers, die in 4 Reihen in Einteilung 100 mm, zbefestigt werden, haben leicht austauschbare Scharen. Die hinten angebaute 1- oder 2-reihige Krümmlerwalze mit Zinken und mit Durchmesser ø 295 mm wird auf Buchsen oder auf Lagern montiert.
Für einen einfacheren Anbau an das Zugfahrzeug kann das Aggregat mit einem Kupplungsbalken ausgestattet werden. Die Aggregate sind an die Fahrten auf den Verkehrsstraßen angepasst, indem sie mit Haltern für die Befestigung der leuchtenden Warnschilder und des Warndreiecks für langsam fahrende Fahrzeuge ausgestattet sind.
